The home of the Ranger Baseball team is named after the 1974 American League Rookie of theYear award winner and current Manager of the Seattle Mariners Mike Hargrove. Mike Hargrove Field is located on the campus of Perryton Jr. High School along highway 15. This baseball field was built over the Jr. High football field in the late 80's - early 90's when baseball was introduced to Perryton High School. With a short fence in the outfield Mike Hargrove Field is known for home run hits.
